History: He was born into a family of shifters. His mother died when he was young, and he and his younger sister were sent to live with his aunt and uncle. While his uncle was a shifter, his aunt was not, and he often used his abilities to skip out on chores or play tricks. Because of this, his aunt greatly resented his abilities, especially since his uncle had rather limited abilities to shift. After one horrible argument with his aunt, he finally left their home at fourteen, knowing they would continue to care for his sister, as she was very well-behaved. He made his way to the city and managed to secure a spot on a merchant ship as part of the crew. He has stayed with them for the last two years and learned much from the other sailors, but now he's ready for the next adventure.

He's rather clever and can pick up new skills easily if he actually applies himself.
