History: He was born as the youngest child to his parents, and his father die when he was still a child. His mother continued to take care of him and his siblings with little outside help. He was always sickly and could not do much to assist his family, so, although they treated him as well as they could, there was always a sense of resentment from his siblings. He fell in love with art after visiting a nearby city and seeing the statues there. Despite his weak body, he managed to land an apprenticeship with a potter whe he was fifteen and learned much of his craft from him. At eighteen, it became clear that his health was only worsening. He still felt like there was too much art in the world to explore, so he set off to find Valerian as his only hope after hearing rumors of a vampire living in the mountains. He did eventually find Valerian's castle, but he was on the verge of death when he arrived and caught Valerian, unfortunately, in a rather hungry mood. To make up for snacking on him, Valerian offered to turn him since it was clear that he was dying. Leander agreed and has been head over heels for the other vampire since. Though, given his unrequited feelings, he did hesitantly enter into a relationship with Marcel after resucing him years later.

He has a tendency to be depressed and feel useless due to his history
