History: He was born as the younger son of the captain of the nightwatch. His mother died of illness while he was still a child, and his father became even colder and more stern afterwards. As the younger son, he was mostly ignored by his father and left to his tutors for his education. He developed a great love of books and other scholarly pursuits, but his father forbid him from pursuing his passion. Instead he was forced to join the city guard as a soldier as his father didn't think he was cut out for the nightwatch. He was the one that ultimately discovered what the creatures he and his brother had bonded with were after finding a book on creatures of other realms and dimensions. It was this book that inspired him to seek out a new place for himself, and he ultimately found himself at Ryslen, hoping to carve a new home for him and his little friends.
